Two Or More: The Sheridan Story

Join us for our next Two Or More service event on December 6th, in support of The Sheridan Story! This is a great opportunity to do something truly meaningful by working shoulder-to-shoulder in support of a cause that helps kids right here in the Twin Cities!

More than 200,000 children in Minnesota live with food insecurity. Without reliable access to food – such as meal programs at school – the risk of hunger is very real. The Sheridan Story works to combat hunger in our community by filling the gaps to food access that children face: primarily weekends and Summers.

Through this service event, we will pack, organize, and prep bags of food that will give kids healthy food to take home on the weekends. We will have plenty of time to socialize and meet our professional peers in the process!

We believe in the power of collaboration. Beautiful, inspiring, valuable, amazing things happen when two or more people show up with willing hands and open hearts. Join us.

The story of The Sheridan Story is one of a community response to a direct call for food support from a local elementary school, Sheridan Elementary in Northeast Minneapolis. The Sheridan Story started in the spring of 2010 with a call from one school, and since then has seen incredible growth in their impact on child hunger in the Twin Cities. Due to strong school and community partnerships, The Sheridan Story now serves more than 5,400 students in 144 schools. To learn more about The Sheridan Story visit their website.
